Police say the search for Kevin Belling, who went missing from his Motu Rimu farm in Kapuka on 9 January, remains active but has yet to produce a breakthrough.

Detective Sergeant John Kean said extensive searches of the property with Land Search and Rescue have been completed, and inquiries including checks of bank and phone records have not shed light on Mr Belling’s whereabouts.

“As time passes, our concerns for Kevin, and those of his family, grow,” Kean said.

Police are asking people in the area to be vigilant and to check their rural properties for any sign of Kevin.

Anyone with information that could help locate him is asked to contact Police online at 105 or call 105, quoting reference number 260118/6964. Information can also be provided anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
